Thanks for dropping by - good to meet you!  

I'm Elizabeth and in a mad moment I signed up for the Atlantic Coast Challenge (the website is here), a three-day multistage ultramarathon in Cornwall in England.  I've never done a marathon (in fact, the furthest I've ever run is 24 kilometres) so this is going to be interesting but I'm hoping it'll be fun in a mental way ... fingers crossed.  

This blog is my journey over the ten weeks between signing up and getting to the start line (and, hopefully, the finish line).  Ten weeks is ages right?!
